Continuing our discussion of systemic racism in education, today we are talking about racism that black premeds face from people who are supposed to help them achieve, like counselors, advisors, and deans. #BlackLivesMatter

This week I'm doing a series of videos to highlight systemic racism in education. I hope that these lessons put a face to educational discrimination and paint a picture of why there is such little diversity in higher education and why improving diversity in college and medical school has been such a challenge.
